She also had the privilege of learning directly from the late Hopi Elder, Grandfather Martin Gashweseoma of the Hopi Nation, Arizona. In addition, she spent five years studying First Nations’ spirituality and teachings around the medicine wheel, animal medicines, and the sweat lodge with a Mohawk Elder in Maniwaki, Quebec.

With a Bachelor of Commerce from McGill University and a Master of Arts from the Institute for Medicine and Spirituality at Johns Hopkins University, Bobby is a certified Spiritual Care Professional with the American Association for Clinical Pastoral Education and the Canadian Association for Spiritual Care. She specialises in cultural and spiritual psychiatry, spiritual psychotherapy, trauma-sensitive therapy, Complex Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (CPTSD), Narcissistic Abuse Recovery, maternal wound healing, particularly for motherless daughters, and the Adverse Childhood Experience test (ACE test).
