Meet Eric.

Eric is a passionate birder, wildlife photographer, and tour leader whose journey began in Uganda amidst the shadows of Rwanda’s 1994 genocide against the Tutsi. After the genocide ended, Eric and his family moved back to Rwanda, where he would eventually discover his true calling.

In 2010, Eric embarked on his career in guiding and tour leading with a community-based tourism organisation that nurtured his skills and passion. This pivotal opportunity laid a strong foundation for his future in the tourism industry.

Eric’s enthusiasm for tourism and guiding quickly ignited, leading him to excel in his field. For the past 14 years, he has led tours across Rwanda, Uganda, and occasionally Kenya and Tanzania. His storytelling and photography skills reflect his profound love for nature, wildlife, and culture, significantly contributing to his success. Through various training courses in Rwanda, Uganda, and Kenya, Eric has honed his abilities, cementing his reputation as a skilled safari leader.
