overview

Picture yourself on a truly unparalleled adventure—one that blends the exhilaration of diving with the allure of uncovering hidden treasure while leaving a lasting, positive legacy. This retreat offers the rare opportunity to join an expedition like no other: the salvage of the Maurepas, a priceless French shipwreck from 1699 lying beneath Panama, laden with gold and silver valued at $24 million today.

For centuries, the Guna Yala tribe has fiercely guarded this treasure, their history intertwined with the waters that hold this fortune. Now, with exclusive permission from the Guna Yala, the expedition offers a chance to embark on this extraordinary journey. But the treasure is just the beginning.

This expedition is about so much more—it’s about giving back. Many Guna Yala tribe members live without access to fundamental needs like clean water, electricity, and healthcare. The retreat’s goal is to empower the community, helping to alleviate these hardships and restore dignity to their way of life. Through a unique 70/30 agreement, most of the salvaged treasures will go directly to the tribe, fostering real and lasting change.

What makes this journey truly remarkable is its focus on sustainability. By engaging local workers, offering education, and training the community in treasure-hunting skills, the retreat ensures that the tribe can build a future of self-sufficiency and resilience.

By joining this adventure, you will experience the thrill of a once-in-a-lifetime expedition and be part of something far more significant—the opportunity to profoundly transform the lives of an entire community. While the financial reward is substantial, the impact you will help create is truly immeasurable.

This is no ordinary luxury getaway. The waters in which this treasure rests are sacred, and even the most high-profile adventurers would not be granted access. This is an invitation-only expedition, one that must be earned, not bought.

Life is short—dare to live boldly.
