Socotra Island is a mysterious jewel in the Arabian Sea, known (only to a few) for its ethereal landscapes and unspoiled nature. Located south of Yemen, the UNESCO site is treasured for its endemic plants – including the Dragon Blood Tree – and its biodiversity which has earned it the nickname ‘Galapagos of the Indian Ocean’. Rocky and rugged, Socotra Island boasts a wildly exciting landscape for tourists, comprised of sand dunes, deep canyons and a beautiful turquoise coastline.
This particular trip to Socotra is advised for the most adventurous of travellers.
