Maria Baltazzi
A Transformational Travel Experience Guide
overview

Kenya is located in East Africa with its coastline along the Indian Ocean, encompassing savannah, lakelands, the dramatic Great Rift Valley and mountain highlands. It’s also home to awesome wildlife like lions, elephants and rhinos. The Kenyan bush is a sensory landscape, and spending time there can be a life-changing experience.

This adventure with Maria Baltazzi , your transformational travel experience guide, offers an extraordinary photographic mobile safari camp experience, which is flexible in dates and can be curated to your every requirement.

Begin your journey by visiting Amboseli National Park, famous for its elephants. Here you will be able to follow the elephants on their daily rounds from woodland to waterhole to swamp and get up close and personal to compose shots of these magnificent creatures. These are the kinds of experiences that can truly ground you in the present moment.

A private charter flight can be organised to take you to see both the rare white rhino and black rhino on a ranch in Northern Kenya, which is dedicated to preserving the natural environment and promoting economic and social improvements.

Meet the locals of the Maasai Mara when you visit the Kisongo Maasai, regarded as the most traditionally conservative of all the Maasai peoples and who have remained virtually unchanged since their early days. Your Kenyan guide has worked closely with the community for many years and has intimate ties with them, so you will get some insight and understanding into the Maasai way of life. After the village, you will visit a school, which is hugely entertaining and interactive. This is especially engaging if you are a family. Maasai children love to learn about your culture and vice versa.

At the end of each trip, as a gift for each guest, an elephant will be adopted in your name, and you will receive updates on its wellbeing from the elephant caretaker throughout the year. The money goes to the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust and helps protect Africa’s Wildlife.

This adventure is perfect for families and small groups and is suitable for all levels of photographers. Experiences can be added, removed or amended as per your requirements.
