Ireland is famous for its green landscape and world-class golf courses. Adare is a village in County Limerick in the southwest, renowned as one of Ireland’s prettiest villages. Located close to Shannon Airport, it is set in a picturesque location on the banks of the Maigue. Over your five days, you’ll enjoy a mix of golf and local culture with this stunning location as your base.
You will begin by learning about the history of your family’s name, accompanied by a visit to Bunratty Castle to enjoy a traditional banqueting experience, as your ancestors may have done. Following this, you will play three rounds of golf on some of Ireland’s best courses, with a mix from Lahinch, Ballybunion, Adare, Dromoland, and Doonbeg. At one of the courses, you will participate in a one-to-one golf clinic designed to help you improve your game. Here you will learn from professional players and then take your new skills for a true test on the course. After a busy day, you can relax with a Swedish massage or brave the deep tissue massage to recharge and prepare yourself for another day on the course. Also included is an optional gin or whiskey-tasting experience in Limerick is also included, and a day trip to Dingle in the Kingdom of Kerry.
